AI has changed many people’s lives and the way they work.

I’m writing this newsletter for you because using AI has changed the way I work. I was a skeptic for a while. I played around with ChatGPT for fun, but never used it for work. I posted a few memes about AI’s lack of quality and creativity. It seemed overhyped.

AI was 2023’s NFT.

I kept an open mind, and started dipping my toes in the artificial waters.

Then I saw more people that I trusted explaining how they were using AI in their business. These weren’t the random Twitter thread bois in a desperate search of their next like. They were people who had a good reputation and cared about the quality of their work. They were using AI.

My wife started asking me, “How do I get to the AI?” while writing Instagram captions for her clients.

I got in the ankle deep waters of AI tools– mainly using ChatGPT. Trying to avoid the nonsense and fluff.

It was helpful!

Pretty quickly, I realized I had a nail gun, while I’d been using an hammer for the past 5+ years. My friend Chatty G made me better, faster marketer and content creator. I started creating blog outlines faster, writing a Facebook ad with multiple variations, and repurposing my latest article into an email.

When the writer I tried hiring ghosted me two days before their assignment was due, I didn’t look for another writer. I turned to my friendly AI assistant. At that point I started feeling the hype. The AI tools can’t do the job for me, but they can do it with me. 

That’s what I’m going to teach you in this newsletter. Whether you’re dipping your toes in, or scuba diving, I’ll teach you how to work with AI effectively on your marketing tasks.
